 | KÖSTER Impact Packers can be obtained with or without non-return valve. They are suited for injecting resins. The ports are made out of plastic and have a cone-shaped fitting. They are available with or without a ball-valve but in most cases ports with ball-valve are used. After the injected resin has cured, they are cut off shortly beneath the surface. The remaining hole can then be closed. |

They are inserted into the borehole so that the rubber seal of the port is completely submerged in the borehole. The cone shaped tightening piece also ensures that the seal is pressed tightly onto the wall of the borehole. This way, the port is installed tightly in the borehole.
